What ReplyWink supports on Reddit

ReplyWink’s Reddit integration is in open beta. It scores posts on the modern Reddit interface and displays highlights with short reasons. It does not currently offer the inline AI draft card or Reddit comment-reply workflow available on X.

What works on Reddit today?

Current Reddit support
FeatureStatusWhat to expect
Post collection and scoringAvailable in betaReads eligible posts encountered in the modern Reddit interface and applies local filters before AI scoring.
Highlights and reasonsAvailable in betaShows a highlight and a passive reason bar, such as “worth a reply” or “maybe.”
Inline AI reply draftsNot availableClicking a Reddit reason bar does not open the X-style draft card.
Comment-thread reply draftingNot availableThe current workflow evaluates posts; do not expect draft controls on individual comments.
Old RedditNot supported by the current scoring collectorUse the modern interface at www.reddit.com. The current collector relies on its post elements.
Automatic comments, votes, or messagesNot providedReplyWink does not write into Reddit inputs or publish for you.

The beta label describes the current scope, not a release date for future features. A paid license does not add features that have not shipped.

How to use Reddit post scoring

  1. Install ReplyWink, connect an active AI provider, and complete setup. Manual setup is available if you do not want X-account analysis.
  2. Open a community feed on modern Reddit. Refresh an already-open page after installing the extension.
  3. Browse normally so posts load. ReplyWink evaluates eligible posts using the context and goals you supplied.
  4. Read a highlighted post and its reason bar. Decide for yourself whether there is a useful contribution you can make.
  5. If you choose to respond, read the thread and write/post through Reddit’s own controls.

What does a reason bar mean?

A reason bar summarizes why a post may fit your configured goals. The score depends on the content available to the extension and the AI provider’s interpretation. It does not mean that the community welcomes promotion, that moderators approve your reply, or that the post will produce a particular result.

For example, a post about a founder’s first customer may be relevant to someone building tools for founders. You still need to read the discussion and community rules before deciding what to say. An unrelated product link is not made relevant by a highlight.

Why are some posts not highlighted?

  • Wrong interface: the scoring collector targets the modern Reddit post layout, not old Reddit.
  • Setup is incomplete: confirm that ReplyWink Setup is enabled and that a provider is active.
  • The post fails a local filter: engagement, age, or author restrictions may exclude it before any AI call.
  • No useful match: the model may decide that a post does not fit your goals.
  • A provider or page change: API failures or changes to Reddit’s layout can interrupt the beta integration.

Refresh the page once, verify the provider connection, and compare a few loaded posts. If the problem persists, include the page URL, browser and extension versions, and a screenshot of the missing or misplaced UI in a support request. Remove private content and credentials first.

Does Reddit scoring use the free draft allowance?

Post scoring does not consume the five free draft generations. Both free and licensed users can use scoring, but AI scoring requests may still incur charges from the configured provider. There is no paid unlock for a Reddit draft card at present.

Which platform should I start with?

Start on X if you want the complete highlight → draft → edit → copy workflow today. Use Reddit’s beta when help prioritizing posts is enough. The X reply guide explains the available inline drafting tools; this page will be updated when Reddit’s supported workflow changes.
